Un' escursione esclusiva in fuoristrada alla scoperta del vulcano Etna. Alla cui guida, uno dei nostri geologi vi condurrà con entusiasmo e competenza tra i campi lavici del vulcano Etna, esplorando grotte vulcaniche e fessure eruttive. L'itinerario della durata di una intera giornata comprende la salita in fuoristraa sul bordo della più grande caldera etnea denominata "Valle Del Bove", che ha fatto da teatro ad alcune delle utime spettacolari eruzioni. Seguirà un trekking non impegnativo (durata 2 ore, ma è anche possibile un camminata più facile e di più breve durata)* alle bocche eruttive del'eruzione 2002, giungendo alla quota di 2100m. Ci rifocilleremo con un bel pic-nic con cibo e vini siciliani. Nel pomeriggio per il divertimento dei vostri ragazzi, seguirà la visita di una grotta di scorrimento lavico, utilizzando i caschi di sicurezza e le torcie da noi forniti. VolcanoTrek farà il possibile perchè possiate ammirare l'incredibile potenza della natura che ci circonda.

The excursion will start from your accomodation or from your arriving place (airport, harbour, train or bus station, etc.). An exclusive half-day excursion by 4 wheel drive vehicle to explore the volcano Mt Etna. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides will take you off-road through Etna's lava fields,  exploring caves and following off-road itineraries to reach the "Valle del Bove" Caldera's rim, immense theatre of some major last eruptions. After the visit of the caldera and lava tunnel (helmets and lights supplied by VolcanoTrek), VolcanoTrek's guides will drive you up to about 2000 meters, where we will see the effects of the 2002 eruption against the touristic facilities of Piano Provenzana walking across the lava flow to the destroied hotels. On the way back  possibility to have a short and easy trekking (1h long roundtrip walk) to the 1865 eruptive fissure.
